Staffing Coordinator

Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for a talented Staffing Coordinator to step into our culturally diverse and fast-paced facility!

Summary: The Staffing Coordinator is member of the Administrative team and is responsible for building, modifying, monitoring and maintaining the schedules of all applicable SJFMC team members

Hours: This is a full-time position.

Position Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy
    • Responsible for overseeing all staffing needs of the organization
    • Develops all work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions throughout the organization
    • Responsible for timekeeping compliance and time off request of allocated staff
    • Ensures uniform time and attendance compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and regulations
    • Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling programs to management and human resources
    • Serve as key point of contact for all team members call-outs
    • Responsible for reallocation of team members to cover call outs
    • Ensures communication to staff of any changes to their schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
    • Maintain, modify and coordinate Provider schedules in the time and attendance system and in accordance with center operational hours.
    • Process Provider time off request in the time and attendance system in accordance with center staffing schedules
    • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position
  • Ability to work early morning hours  
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Reliable with a strong respect for confidentiality
  • Comprehensive computer skills in using spreadsheet and data applications
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with regular support and supervision
